This site is dedicated to all who served with this Squadron.

Special thanks go to everyone who contributed with stories and pictures.

Since I started my, what I thought would be a small weekend project back on my Birthday in March 1995, I could never have imaged just how far it would go, and the people I would end up talking to and some of them becoming really good friends. Inevitably, time takes its toll and most of the guys I met up with at various events have sadly passed away, but I still have the memories.

Gone but “NEVER FORGOTTEN”

Eric Clegg (18.05.13), Keith Stevens (21.08.13), Harry Hoffe (24.5.14), Bramwell Harvey (30.10.14), John Bissett (03.01.15). Peter Illingworth (15.02.15), Bob Kinch (02.04.15), Denis Robinson (28.07.15) , Ron ‘Bluey’ Hurman (21.08.15) Cyril Potter (01.04.16) W/O. Robert E. Strange (01.05.16) Stan Williams (02.08.16) Ray Johnson (03.09.16) Cal Taylor (23.10.16) Frank Shelton (30.12.16) Gus Ardeline (12.05.18) John Anderson (31.06.18) Alf Allsopp (18.08.18) Frank Lee (04.01.2019) LAC. Arthur Stanley Turner (16.04.19) Douglas Chaplin (07.05.2020) Ron Patterson (18.01.2021) (updated 14.02.2021)

It’s been an Honour and a privilege to have been able to help these guys get back in touch with old friends, and to post their memories and pictures on the net, so future generations of family members can look back and feel very proud of their relatives and know that their names will live on.

So thank you to you all for your support over the last 26 years.

When I launched the site on the 21st June 2002, my aim was to help old friends find each other and for the families and relatives to know that their loved ones would never be forgotten and always be remembered. I hope that I have done that.
